Wow, I was so surprised; thanks so much you guys! Being relatively new, I had no idea I would be asked to pick a challenge afterward and so I hope I got this right.

My request for this coming week is Crossover. I would like to see the inclusion of a previously unused world: your favorite disney movie, an interesting book, a tv series that you always thought would be a good place for the KH crew to visit. I'll accept worlds mentioned but not visited in the games, but don't set the drabble in any world actually visited.

Of course, you can completely ignore me and also use crossover in some other way. Crossing between wake and sleep, darkness and light, even crossing the street. Looking forward to what everyone comes up with!

P.S. Almost forgot. Entries are due by August 22nd.

Reminder:

Spoiler Rules for KH: 3D are in effect!

If you have any suggestions for prompts, please leave them at our Prompt Post!

Remember:

You're allowed to vote for yourself, but unless you think your drabble was exceptionally good, please refrain.

Pick your top three, and if you're not the one who posted the challenge, leave the challenger's vote box empty. We've already indicated the challenger's name, so if that's not your name there, don't put your vote in the challenger's box. Everyone's vote counts, but the one that gets the vote of the challenger gets an extra five points.

(First Choice: 3 points, Second Choice: 2 points, Third Choice: 1 point, so please vote the drabbles in the order that you like the most)

Also, please note that the challenger votes only once, in the challenger's voting box.

When voting, please put in only the number. It makes it easier for the mod to calculate results rather than constantly referring to the list of challengers. Also, I'm aware that I may make mistakes. Please inform me if I missed a challenger out.

The winner will be announced in this post so please come back to it.

Thank you, everyone! This was a wonderful surprise. :D

We all have things that we hold onto. It might be the heart of the world, or the heart of a friend. It may be the balance of the worlds, or an ideal you swore to pursue. A task you've been given, a castle you must guard or a dark secret you swore to keep.

Tell us what you would Defend by July 25th.

Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

Sora really did want Riku to help train him, but somehow waking up early in the morning was not something he was counting on having to do. Luckily Kairi is there to get his butt out of bed.

(anything else): Spoilers for Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance. This is the first piece of anything fanfiction I've produced in practically years, so apologies in advance for any goof-ups I may have missed. Challenge: [305] Rise Up
Title: Staring at the Ceiling
Word Count: 312
Spoilers: Are KHII spoilers still in effect? Otherwise, no.
Notes: Set in Twilight Town.

There was something about getting up first thing in the morning... )
[identity profile] cygna-hime.livejournal.com
...Well, that apparently was a thing that happened. Or, of course, I could be hallucinating. But I choose to believe that I am not. Thanks, all!

Have you been knocked down seven times and need a little help getting up the eighth? Are the dead crawling out of their nonexistent graves? Did you finally become the god you were always going to be? Do you hear the people sing, singing the song of angry men? Challenge 305 is Rise Up, and you have until July 8th to get help, stop the apocalypse, apotheose, overthrow the government, or whatever you decide to do.

You guys
Through no-one's fault but my own I had become convinced this comm was dead and in the midst of feeling sorry for myself, checked to see if maybe at least someone posted for the challenge.

I got more than just someone. And I'm so happy, so grateful to know I'm not alone in this space like I thought.

The poll will be posted at 11pm, CST tonight, if anyone wants to limbo under the wire.

Welcome back everyone :)
