Notes: I wanted it to be dark, but I don't know if I got it. ^^;


He had smiled as he said that he would never forget any of his friends. Some called it an impish grin, while others said it was childish. But everyone knew that he was just a young child…

That was what they let him be…

It was after a fight. He sat down to rest and at that moment, it hit him. The fighting had made him forget it all, forget the place he was born in, the wind blowing through the trees, the waves hitting the sand. The games, the sun…his friends and family…and sometimes his real goal…

He had forgotten what it was like to be a child.
He had never meant to forget again.
Sometimes in a battle, he was afraid he’d forget he was human.

And sometimes he thought that there was only the fight, the blood, the screams and shouts, the heart beating, the sounds of weapons and magic in the air…

And the looming Darkness…

"Sora!"

He looked up, and tried to smile…
