summary/notes: almost completely kaiyabeck's fault, except for the bit where I was inpsired by this and my brain went off in another direction entirely. ;p Somehow I have a feeling there's more to this than I'm getting, and it might get expanded and rewritten (again!) at some future date - but for now I'm sick of beating my head against the wall and a little worried I'll screw it up completely if I keep pushing.
