Title: Cinderella

Notes: Lurker for a while, first time poster. Just a little Riku/Namine fluff.


She slowly climbed the old and dusty school stairs. She had climbed them many times since first attending the school upon the return to the islands.
Brushing a bit of blonde hair out of her face, she let her mind wander and continued to climb.

"Ah..." She turned back a moment as her shoe slipped off and fell down the stairs. It tumbled until being caught suddenly in someone's hand.

"You lost something," he said, looking up at her through silver bangs. He walked up the stairs, within an arm's reach of her, and handed her the shoe.
As she reached out to take it, he pulled it back, looking thoughtful.
He knelt down as she smiled slightly, sticking her foot out. Carefully, he slipped it onto her small, delicate foot and stood again.

"A perfect fit," he noted quietly.

She smiled. "Too bad it's not a glass slipper."

"Probably more practical," he said with a smirk. She laughed and kissed him lightly on the cheek.

"I'll have to thank my fairy godmother."
