Challenge [16]: OVER

Gah, I know I have to do the memories and the infopage again. *is lazy* But before I go do that, let me announce the winner for Sandman!

I'm glad to see that the challenge didn't really deter a lot of people, and the ideas were all very refreshing and creative! ^__^

[livejournal.com profile] sans_memories's Karma

I felt that although this piece is written very simply, it had managed to capture the essence of the line she had picked as an inspiration, and I think both creativity and trying to follow closely to the challenge requirements should be rewarded.

SPECIAL RECOMMENDATION!

However, I also adore [livejournal.com profile] dejablue7's Castle of Cards. It is incredibly well-written, and I love the parallels drawn to Sandman (as a comic) and Marluxia. There is an aura of dreariness in the drabble, but weighing both pieces, [livejournal.com profile] sans_memories won just by a margin.

Congratulations!

lol, parallels to Sandman as a comic? ::grins:: I've never actually read Sandman--though, it's been recommended to me before. The poem you chose though...it seemed to me to fit Marlucia/Marluxia like a glove. I couldn't resist.

Also, congratulations sans_memories! I especially enjoyed your attention to detail in "Karma"--little things which, apparently, Riku noticed too late...
