Challenge [196]: Fifty Words
Title: with the moon I run
Word count: 50
Notes: Every week is Kairi week, didn't you know? During KH2.

Selphie used to tell campfire stories about vampires and werewolves and old ladies who gobbled up children whole. She would giggle while Kairi shrieked and Sora shivered, Riku silhouetted against the moon.

Her cell is bright and dull and empty. She wishes that she were afraid of the dark instead.

This challenge is equalling alot of comment fail for me because there are so many powerful things being written in such a small amount of words.

In my filthy mind, this is all Saix/Kairi fodder, you know. XD My favourite bit, actually, is Riku's lack of reaction - the only thing Kairi recalls is him against the moon. Lovely image. <3

I did the same thing as Tabby and I also thank you for it.

:( Poor Kairi.

agreeing with the above. ♥ saïx/kairi implications make me eee.

and oh, this is lovely. fabulous rhythm and just enough words without too much filler. i agree with tabby - riku's lack of reaction is excellent and telling. ♥

yay, every week should be kairi week! ♥

ooooohhhh, man, this is awesome and creepy and definitely gave me chills. Speaking of imagery, I really like the contrast between listening to stories around a campfire at night, and then Kairi sitting in a bright cell trying not to think of them. Saix really is kind of all of those things put together.
