The words echo in his mind but he doesn't know where they come from.

One day he will see that person. The words are both a faint memory and a promise to himself.

And the day he sees that flash of clear sky-eyes, the shock of blonde,

he knows his name, and he grins.

So there was one, after all.

No it isn't. When someone uses one of my favorite scenes, and gives it a second part that's a beautifully-written ending, and they wrote the entire thing very well, they deserve to be called awesome.
