Challenge: Sickness.
Title: Regrets.
Word Count: 271.
Notes: RS-implied. Spoilers. O_o Kind of. Anyway, I guess I just like having Riku beat himself up. ...because he's doing it again in this drabble. My friend and I had a controversy on the "I'm" in it. I thought if I put "i'm," it would totally have more feeling. But she said it's better if I capitalize the "I". So, yeah, it's capitalized.
The look Sora had givien to him flashed in his mind once more. It was as if that stupid boy would never leave him alone! No matter what he did, Sora arrived, just to make him feel... guilty. Terrible.
Sora had acted like this was his fault! His fault! All he wanted to do was get away. All he wanted to do was save Kairi. Kairi was his goal. It wasn't his fault that this happened to everyone. It couldn't be. He was doing this for Kairi, wasn't he?
Then the sight of Sora entered his mind. Helpless, defeated on the ground before him. Sora, fighting beside him in Monstro. Sora, delighted to see him at Traverse Town. Sora, a child, looking up to him with bright blue eyes.
Sora, screaming.
"Why are you doing this?!"
"...I'm doing it for you." He heard the words come out of his own mouth, anger seething through them. He clutched his hand to his stomach, feeling it tighten, gradually effecting his breathing.
He really felt like throwing up. Sora was gone, and Riku didn't know where he was. He was alone, empty. His emotions were going crazy, his body functions going out of control.
Sora was right.
This was his fault, wasn't it? He never should have tried to control darkness. He never should have said the things he said. He never should have wanted to leave his home so badly. The blame was entirely on his shoulders. He wanted all of this to happen, didn't he? He wanted a real adventure, didn't he?
The thought of the person he had become made him sick. And he regretted every second of it.

Funny thing is, I really think this is what he would think if he wasn't disney. I really enjoyed it. He was really in character.
