Title: And Finally

Summary: Spoilers for BBS.  Terra.  I will just go away with my feels now.

And finally, finally, Terra has had enough.  No more trust – no more forgiveness.  Not for him or anyone else.  Even if a part of him is screaming don’t do it, don’t do it.

It’s too late.  Eraqus is dead and Ven is safe from him and yet...still not safe at all.

But now – but now?

Who will protect Terra?

Because Aqua is looking at him with fire in her eyes and Ven won’t look at him at all.

Terra knows now that he wasn’t really suited for this life and oh, if only he could take it all back; for surely that other little boy is cursed now.  Cursed to know power and friendship and lose it all raging at shadows.  He wishes none of this had ever happened.  Never, never. He was never meant to protect.

He doesn’t know that finally giving up is what finally damns him.
