Challenge: Silence
Title: Memory Replay

Notes: Speechless again xD

Riku sat silently, eyes glazed over with a faraway look on his face, as he began to play over in his mind his favorite memory.

At first it was a little fuzzy, but then it became clearer as he remembered Sora running towards him in slow-motion with arms spread out, laughing and smiling as Riku did the same.

Back when we could just act like silly kids.

Riku mouthed the words they were saying, never really hearing the voices in his head until they collided, and he finally allowed the sound to flood his ears, as though he had turned the volume up on a tv set.

However, it was over too soon. Sora’s giggles and the sound of his own laughter became too much for him and he shut it out, allowing the only sound in the endless darkness be his silent sobbing as his wished for a way back home.
