Title: Letting others take the fall
Word count: 168
Dear Sora,
We are very very very very very very very sorry for not waking you up.
The cookies were really really really too yummy and we got carried away.
I (Selphie) told Tidus to wake you up but he forgot.
I (Tidus) told Wakka to wake you up but he forgot too.
I (Wakka) am sorry I forgot to do what Selphie and Tidus forgot to do.
We promise not to eat the cookies that Kairi asked us to send to you again.
Your best bestest best pals,
Selphie
Tidus
And Wakka.
His eyes sparkled with mischief as he tucked the pencil behind his ear after he had finished writing the note. Casting his aquamarine gaze onto his sleeping friend, he could not resist the urge to grin. He used the back of his gloved hand to wipe the incriminating cookie bits from the corners of his upturned lips. He lifted the glass lid of the cookie jar and carefully slipped the note into the empty glass.

...though I think letters are usually written by one person, even when speaking for three (like birthday cards). So the "I(name)" is a little odd. Oh, there's a "to cookies" in the letter that should be a "the cookies." Might want to reread.

... The original idea was just to write a letter about Selphie, Tidus and Wakka being the original cookie-thieves (yes, the idea was spawned by "who stole the cookies from the cookie jar" and a packet of oreos on my table). But then I decided that it would be waaaay more fun having them framed by Riku instead. So... the letter started out to be written by Selphie but later changed to make it seem like what Selphie would have wrote through Riku's POV. Oh dear... I am confusing myself...
