Title: Toothache

Notes: In my mind, this is set after KH2. No blatant spoilers.


Riku hadn't been all that surprised, after visiting King Mickey's homeworld and meeting everyone in the castle and the surrounding areas (Mickey had insisted), to find that everyone was similar to the tiny king.

The sugary sweetness of the Disney Castle residents was almost too much. Enough to make your heart swell nearly out of your chest (and be annoyed every moment, yet accept it and actually enjoy it while you were there), but not enough for it to burst.

Riku found he was oddly grateful for Donald's presence by the end.

Anyone with an evil laugh like that couldn't be all good.

I recall when you were making the KH fanfic of Cloud/Squall in the Coliseum. Did it ever take off? And good to see you here!

I take it that Donald's chuckle is a breath of 'fresh air reality' for Riku?

*chuckles* No, it didn't, but now that you've mentioned it, I may very well dig up the drafts and make drabbles out of what I did, write.

*smiles* Yep. Disney Castle is chock full of good eggs, BUT THEY'RE ALL CADBURY! I can fully imagine Riku dying from cute if he spent too much time there. Then again... he is friends with Sora and Kairi. They must have built up his tolerance level. ^^

Staying around those two would, plus Slephie, Tidus and Wakka. Not to mention the continuous happy music of Destiny Islands. :P And if he saw Chip 'n Dale then he would explode from the cuteness.... or from Bambi.

I admit, I SQUEE!D at Chip 'n Dale when I saw the height differential. Yes, that was me squealing 'They're running on all fours just like real chipmunks do!'

Riku considers himself the healthy dose of cynicism on Destiny Islands? ^^

He is, and yet I luff him. *laughs* Playing KH2 reminded me of so many old cartoons. The trick quarter, the one when his nephews tried to surprise him for his birthday and it went horribly wrong, the Angel/Devil one where he skipped school-

...please say I'm not the only one who remembers these cartoons? ^^
