Challenge: [61] Create
Word Count: 249
A/N: Demyx and Roxas, but not as a pair. Kinda strayed in my opinion, but I don't count, so I'll let you have at it.
Roxas had always admired the other members of the organization, for no other reason other than that they held power. His best friend, Axel, could produce fire, Larxene conducted electricity, and Vexen was a great scientist.
He looked up to Demyx the most though. Not only did Demyx wield the talent to play beautful music, but he could control the most fierce and elegantly wonderous element of them all. Demyx could control the water. Everyday Demyx would play by the water of the dark ocean, and everyday, Roxas would watch, entranced with the sight of the dancing liquid moving rythmically to the soft rock beat that Demyx would create. He'd admire the talented blonde time aftert time, the other never questioning him, until one day he finally asked, "What power do you wield?"
If Roxas had a heart, now would be the time it would have stopped, then beat furiously at his chest again. "I wield the keyblade. I have harnessed the power of destruction and devestation." he replied in a sulky voice.
Demyx's eyes widened, and a soft smile crossed his features. "That't not true. You bring peace to people, even though you might not see it."
Roxas scoffed. "Yeah right. Who do I do that to?"
Demyx turned back to his sitar and strummed a single note. "Me. You give me the power to play everyday." The soft rock melody picked up again, the dancing water continued its graceful ballet, and Roxas held a new admiration for the water bender.
"Thanks, Demyx."
