The paopu fruit hung from it’s spot against the leaves of the broad palm tree. The brown haired boy bounced up and down upon the tips of his feet, reaching desperately to try and curl his fingers around the luscious yellow fruit.
“Need a hand?” The mature voice of the silver haired boy rang out from behind him.
“Eep!” Sora said with a smile, turning around his face his friend. “Riiikkkkuuuu…” He said, with that squeaky, childish voice of his. “Can you get it for me?” His tone was completely childish, and caused the other boy to smile in delight.
Riku strode up to the tree in a feet small steps, and reached his long arms as far as they would go, as his fingers curled around the soft surface of the fruit. He smiled some, wondering how Sora couldn’t have reached this by himself. I mean, the other boy was only a few inches shorter…surely he would have been able to reach the paopu by jumping…
