Challenge 88, Tomorrow
Challenge[88] Tomorrow
Title: Waiting for Tomorrow
Word Count: 247
Notes: Spoilers, spoilers—for the first 7 days of Roxas. ^^; Enjoy~
DiZ looked up at the computer screens, fingers rapidly typing in the coordinates and set of directions it would need. Tomorrow was when all of his plans would go into effect, when he could finally start the rest of his revenge.
Tomorrow, the worlds would have back their hero.
Riku wasn't sure if he was looking forward to that or not; of course he wanted to see Sora again, but he didn't want Sora to see him. He stared down at his too-large hands, fisting them to hide their size. Tomorrow Sora would wake up, but Riku wouldn't be there to greet him.
Tomorrow, Sora would wake up alone.
Naminé finished sketching out another scene in her book—she had almost finished piecing together Sora's memories, those that she had taken from him a year ago. He had slept for a year, but now it was time for him to return. Her gaze lingered on the picture of Sora and Roxas, hands next to each other, visibly joined in the picture, but not yet joined in the soul.
Tomorrow, Sora would be whole.
Roxas wasn't aware of what was going to happen tomorrow. All he knew was that strange things were happening and half-memories assailed in his dreams. He didn't know that it was all building up to this, to this day that hadn't yet come. Tomorrow, Roxas would meet the heart he didn't know he was missing. Tomorrow, Roxas would be whole.
Tomorrow, Roxas would disappear.
