Title: Do you...?
Word Count: 220
Note: Been having lack of motivation for writing lately. Wrote this during study hall.
Summary: Pre-KH, SoraxKairi fluffyness(:D teh yey!). Sunsets are a nice moment to talk.
She peeked at him, from beneath her long lashes, as a soft blush heated her cheeks. The ocean breeze ruffled their hair, cooling down the soft warmth upon her peachy cheeks. She always felt this way around him. Always.
“Kairi… Do you like anyone?”
“Me?” she asked, a little surprised by his question. “Well, yeah, I do. But I don’t think he likes me.” A soft laugh and a girlish smile, her hands moving up to fix her hair. “I don’t mind, though. As long as I can be by him I’ll be happy.”
There was a slight pause as the brown haired boy took a moment to think. “Is it…” Another pause, almost as if the last word didn’t want to come out. “…Riku?”
RIKU?! Just though of-no, he was cute and all but she just couldn’t see herself growing fond of him. She only liked him as a friend. “Of course not, Sora!” she exclaimed, giving him a playful shove. “Riku’s my friend. I can’t like him that way!” Once the words escaped her mouth she noticed Sora visibly twitch but she smiled, reaching out to place her hand over his.
He looked at her, curious of her actions. “Kairi?” With a tilt of his head he waited in silence for a response.
“Let’s just watch the sunset.”
