Title: Everyone is Always Connected

Summary: The pieces wait for their place.

Everything is a puzzle, scattered by memories and relationships and being.
She sits in a chamber of white, grasping the pieces one at a time.
A tale of skies and hearts and friends is placed down in its proper home, and nearby the dark clicks in beside it with blinded eyes and hurt in his soul. Directly beneath the dark is light, full of smiles and the scent of home. She watches as the puzzle, the story, it all unfolds, and she herself is there too, empty white and false longing. Thirteen non-hearts beside hers, all identical and all different.
Dark hearts and the light of love coincide in the middle and explode into a jigsaw of relationships. Her hand stills and the puzzle fills itself in. It doesn't need her influence anymore. It's fine on its own, just like the people it has replaced.
She smiles. This means hope.
