Xehanort's humanity leaves him long before his heart has the chance to.
There is little doubt that the nature of his work—this new work, these new abominations—is unspeakable. But he learns; he is a delicate butcher and he wears these deaths like so many fine coats.
'The subjects in Group 6 have failed to respond to proposed treatments. Nervous and circulatory systems are damaged beyond repair. No survivors.'
But there will be. He will raise shadows where they lie, and he will find this secret in the heart of the world. Nothing will keep Xehanort from his salvation.
Of this he is so, so certain.
