notes: **kh:com spoiler-ish** i say 'ish' because it really doesn't give anything away, but if you haven't played the game, you kind of won't know what's going on. and because i have a problem with female characters needing to be male, i write larxene as a guy. if none of that bothers you, go right ahead.

notes: just some random fluff. could be taken as riku/sora, but only if you're a slash fan like myself. ^_^
This was the kind of night that was just meant for lying on the beach and staring up at the sky. No one else around, no worries, no sword fighting, and no sound except for waves quietly lapping at the shore. Just...peaceful. It was nice.
“Hey, Riku, what do you think the stars are made of?”
Riku cast him a sideways glance. “What?”
“The stars,” he repeated, as if the question had been perfectly obvious the first time around and his friend was just a little dense for not getting it. “What do you think they're made of?”
Riku half-snorted in amusement and returned to his stargazing.
“Well, if you'd actually been paying attention during our lessons...”
“I know what they are,” Sora interrupted with a sigh of exasperation. Why did Riku always have to make things so difficult? “That's not what I meant.”
Riku rolled his eyes, giving in and turning to look at his friend. “Fine. What do you think they're made of?”
“Dreams,” he answered immediately.
“Dreams?”
“Yup. That's why we can't touch them.” Sora turned and grinned at him. “They're always there, they're just out of reach.”
Riku stared at him thoughtfully for a few moments before rolling back onto his back and placing both hands behind his head.
“You know what? I think I like your answer better.”
Sora was obviously immensely pleased with himself. “Yeah, I know.”
“Shut up.”
