That is beautiful. And it fits so well, with what we see happening and the personalities involved - I can't see Yen Sid being able (or at some points, willing) to deal with any of the DI kids the way they'd need. (In particular I'd imagine his reaction to a younger Riku as being a very serious wizardly version of 'augh it's a baby Xehanort squish it!'. )
