(no subject)
Dec. 11th, 2005 04:01 pmTitle: [誓願]
Word Count: 245
Challenge: Oath
Notes: Nothing really...
I, number five, will uphold the order, research, and conduct of the Heart. Frivolous pursuits such as love, affection, and lust will not hinder me from the ultimate goal of the group. I, Lexaeus, will obey the Superior and respect my co-workers of the Thirteenth Organization to grace Castle Oblivion.
An unstated promise, that's all it was. No one spoke it aloud, and no one suggested that these truths were reality to the Order. Each to their own, they thought, and this was his.
His idealisms of how the Order was to run - which were shared with the young man he usually spent his time with. Normally he was called away to help those who actually conducted research and clear the halls of heartless furies.
The heartless were a pesky race.
Of course, he was only there to clear the halls and protect the castle but that didn't stop him from listening, and reciting the oath to keep his head clear of thoughts best left to desires written in a journal.
Or… engraved in secret in the back of his lover's mind.
I, Lexaeus, must keep in mind that lust is not healthy when performing research.
He recited this in the back of his mind, frowning some as he turned his attention away from his notes. He was breaking the rules his personal oath suggested... so why was he still repeating it?
His oath should be kept under strict measures, no matter the circumstance.
