Secret Santa Assignments and Instructions

Everyone who has signed up for this year's Secret Santa should now have received their assignments in the email addresses that they have given me. The subject of the email will be "KH Drabble Secret Santa Assignment", just in case some of you have enabled Junk Mail and my email got shuffled into that by mistake.

If you have NOT received your assignment by 1st December, PLEASE COMMENT HERE so that I can get to it. Thank you. Alternatively, use the PM system to contact me.

Here are the instructions/FAQ for the SS:

1. You have until the 23th of December, 11.59 PM PST to write your gifts, but please feel free to send them in beforehand.

2. All the presents for the Secret Santa will be uploaded into a giant post on the 25th of December.

3. DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR PRESENT TO THE COMMUNITY. I will do the submissions myself.

4. Email your gift to the email that was used to send your assignment to you.

5. If you did not write your gift, YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR PRESENT. Come 25th December I will consolidate everything into one huge post. If I find that you have not submitted your gift to your recipient, you will not get your present either, even if it's been written. You will also be banned from the next round of SS if you do not submit within the grace period after Christmas. Please try to get yours in on time, so everyone can enjoy their presents.

6. There will be a grace period of three days after the 25th of December. Anyone who submits their present within this window period will not be banned from the next round. Please submit your late gifts to the email address and I will add them to the gift post.

7. The desired length of the present should be drabble-length (100-1000 words) in order to keep up with the spirit of the community.

8. You can write as many drabbles as you like. This is your personal choice.

9. Cut and paste your gift in the body of the email itself. Please don't send me attachments. PLEASE INCLUDE ALL HTML FORMATTING (with working tags) IF YOU USE THEM. Your gift will be posted AS IT IS SEEN IN THE EMAIL. If I have to format every entry, I will apply a brisk Keyblading set Stitch on your computer cry. Please don't make the mod cry.

10. Headers for the gift should include title, word count, rating, and whether your gift contains spoilers. Anything else is optional, but gift notes are always appreciated.

11. Please try not to contact your recipient and request for a change in the preferences. The goal of the Secret Santa is so that your recipient can be surprised by you.

A bit of trivia: This year's Secret Santa has a total of 18 participants - eleven less than last year. :o

Please remember to follow our spoiler restrictions for both Birth by Sleep and Re:coded. This includes icons. If your icon is not from promotional material released pre-game, please do not use it on this community.

Remember:

You're allowed to vote for yourself, but unless you think your drabble was exceptionally good, please refrain.

Pick your top three, and if you're not the one who posted the challenge, leave the challenger's vote box empty. We've already indicated the challenger's name, so if that's not your name there, don't put your vote in the challenger's box. Everyone's vote counts, but the one that gets the vote of the challenger gets an extra five points.

(First Choice: 3 points, Second Choice: 2 points, Third Choice: 1 point, so please vote the drabbles in the order that you like the most)

Also, please note that the challenger votes only once, in the challenger's voting box.

When voting, please put in only the number. It makes it easier for the mod to calculate results rather than constantly referring to the list of challengers. Also, I'm aware that I may make mistakes. Please inform me if I missed a challenger out.
