“I have a great idea that you cannot tell anyone,” he said.

She reluctantly lifted her cheek from his knee, arms loosening from around his shin. He kept her close but not on his level. It was the good and bad part of being a leashed pet.

“Are you going to tell me?” she asked, blinking once as she looked up. His bangs shadowed most of his face, thick blood-rich auburn hair framing tanned skin. She wondered, vaguely, how he got so tan, considering he never went outside.

“Yes,” he said, darkly, and reached from his dirt-stained throne to snatch a flower growing from the cracks in the floor. It was one of few untouched by severe rot and decay - the leaves still held their greenness, despite the decomposed black edges. The flower petals were damp and sagging, sickly collapsing in on themselves.

“We’ll call this one Xemnas,” was his comment, as he turned it over in his palm. The stalk was already squashed, and a fly wandered out of the center and buzzed off. The room was always like that - bug-flecked, full of dead plants - and Marluxia seemed to enjoy this disturbing serenity. She, in her paleness and pure whites, didn’t appreciate it, but he thrived. His fingers smoothed the edges of the flower.

“Do you know what’ll happen to Xemnas?” he whispered, eyes narrowing as he pulled her closer. She rose to her knees so her chest pressed against his knee, and when she gave only the slightest of nods, he smeared her fingers across the bloodroot, ripping the petals and diffusing the pieces, leaving it a smothered, broken lump. It stained her fingers red.

She didn’t say anything, and just continued to not-exist in the satirical atmosphere.

...There is much love for you right now <3

I really love the word choice and the tone you've set for the piece. Marluxia's and Naminé's relationship is a rather interesting one and I rather enjoy how you've taken it.

Horrah! <333333

Mmm creepy. Little Namine. Interesting dynamic you've created here with the two characters, his haughtiness, her servitude. I love the last line, especially the bit about it being a "satirical atmosphere." Nice job.
