‘Look.’ The word was quiet and precise, as was the manner of the silver-haired boy who said it. His left thumb gravitated to his mouth as he pointed at the words in the sand.
I close my eyes and I keep seeing things
Rainbow waterfalls
Sunny liquid dreams
Don’t ever forget the islands.
As though the words had some mystical power over them, the other children stared at the message he’d found until the morning tides washed it from the sands, and with it, from their minds.
Somewhere far away, a wrinkled brow smoothed with a sigh, a mournful sound lost to the all-encompassing darkness as he came out of his ‘trance.’ ‘Don’t ever forget the islands,’ he whispered again. ‘Because you won’t remember how to get back . . . Sora, please help me . . .’

Date: 2004-11-09 03:53 am (UTC)Basically, it's Riku sitting in the darkness . . . somewhere. Perhaps Twilight Town, perhaps KH, I'm not really sure ^_^;; But he can't remember anything about Destiny Islands, or how to get back to them. And he knows that Sora isn't back on DI, either, so he's trying to ensure that they can both get back by placing that message on the beach?
Ehhhh . . . it's very confusing, I realise. ^_^;;
