Title: Running Figure

Warnings/Rating: More using of stuff from 'round the beginning of KHII. PG- swearing.

It figured. Here he was, running as fast as he could through a town that seemed pretty much abandoned- there sure as hell wasn’t anyone around, anyway- and he was feeling (whatever the hell anyone else said about the matter) more than he’d ever felt. (He didn’t know what was going to happen, but he was busy hoping it wasn’t going to end in death-by-chakrams. The past few days seriously weren’t worth it.) Mostly it was frustration, but the town was practically abandoned, and it was creeping him right out. There should at least have been one of the shopkeepers getting ready for the day, or kids running round yelling at each other and not-quite treading on cats or something.

Instead, there were the silver things appearing all over the place, and a complete lack of anyone other than him. Heck, he’d’ve taken Seifer, even. Just for a moment. Just for long enough to think that there was a chance everything might be normal, that this might just be another weird dream, and when it ended everything would be fine, and the worst that would be going on would be schoolwork.

Because, goddammit, he did not want any of this weird stuff that came with the giant key and the dreams and Sora. If he got the chance, he fully intended to tell whoever the hell was behind this that he did not appreciate his life being mucked around with like this, not in the least.

Maybe he could get a punch in, too, before… whatever was going to happen. It was deserved, he felt.
