Ahhaha this is the first thing I've written in a while, I'm sorry if it seems a little.. disconnected? but this is the first thing I thought of when this challenge was proposed :P
There were things that belonged solely to them, things they could never share with the others because no one would understand the world they saw when they closed their eyes.
For her, it was a world full of classes, fighting, healing, running running oh would they ever stop running? Of blue eyes and scarred faces and friendships that ran deeper with each mission. She dreamt of hot dogs and high polished halls and the name, resounding through her head like a storm Squall.
For them, it was wide open beaches, not far off from where they lived in the real world. Of blitzballs and summons and loves that should not, could not, can maybe happen? A world of sacrifice and denial and, maybe you don't have to die after all?
Tidus and Wakka understood each other to an extent, they never mentioned it. Even though the blond was occassionally pinching himself, making sure he was still here.
Selphie never breached the subject with anyone, not the boys, not Kairi, not even her own mother (was it really her mother?). Instead she would sit on the dock, watching the ocean and thinking hard about trains and the things she knew that she shouldn't know.
None of them ever mentioned it, for fear of finding the truth, of finding one of the two worlds they lived in was only a dream....

I REALLY like this! It's not often that authors try and explore what happened to the other three from Destiny. I liked how they weren't sure how to bring it up with each other afterwards, and that kind of leads into the whole forgetting about Sora in KH2.
I also really liked the slight reference to Selphie/Squall. <3 That might make an excellent chaptered fic. Is Selphie's Squall a person who is indpendent from Leon?
