Roxas ran around another corner, avoiding the Deserters for now, eyes set for the chests. He stopped behind a pillar to catch his breath, snickering as a heartless ran by.
The roar of the Beast went unnoticed as Roxas started to move again, looking ahead cautiously and keeping an ear out for more Deserters or something bigger. A large thump from behind signaled to him that that "something bigger" was now behind him.
He turned around slowly and slumped. "I hate Bully Dogs..." he growled as he took off with the large purple heartless bounding at his heels. As he turned another corner he came to a screeching halt. That talking candlestick was there.
Roxas sighed in annoyance as he spotted the last chest just past the candle's vision. He studied the path of the enchanted figure for a few moments and right as he took off, the Bully Dog pounced. Roxas fell forward flat on his face. He looked up in time to see the candlestick look his way. With another aggravated sigh, he turned around, killed the heartless and made a mad dash to get out of sight.
"Hm...I could have sworn it felt like someone was watching me..."
