Title: One Last Stand

She’s already exhausted. Every last inch of her is bruised and battered to the point where even Curaga can’t banish the pain completely. Her mind is still reeling from all that’s happened this past day, her throat constricting even as she tries not to look back and instead forces herself forwards, always forwards. More than anything she’d rather just collapse in a heap, maybe even shed a few tears if she thought she could.

But she knows he’s still out there, and when she sees him it’s like a fuse has suddenly been lit. The bastard is wearing her friend’s face and it makes her sick to her stomach. How dare he? Even as they talk- even as he seizes her- anger is flooding her veins, filling every cell, freezing cold and merciless.

Ven gave his all.

Terra has bought her as much time as he can.

Now it’s time for her to do her part.

Furious as she is, there’s no room for even the slightest shred of wonder at just how calm she sounds as she summons her Keyblade and starts to speak.

“My name is Master Aqua...”

Thank you! I kind of really love that the big really final boss fight (within the game, anyway) went to Aqua, so I guess it was only a matter of time before I ended up writing about it!
