challenge; tragedy
title; after all

notes; First challenge I'm entering. I thought I'd give it a shot.
Dark stormy eyes stared blankly at the painting in front of him, a palm pressed against the cold stone.
The rising sun.
His eyes shut tightly, fingers gripping the handle of his weapon. Gunblade had still remained the same, a constant reminder. He had taken on a different identity to erase the past, to try to correct his mistakes, to save the one person that had meant the world to him.
There was much he had learned the past few years. Correct stance, proper fighting, sharpened blade, clean swiftness. He would take back everything, he had sworn to himself.
His hand clenched tighter. The only thing he had never learned was to let go.
