notes: just a random idea. um, you'd have to have at least a vague idea of what happens in kh:com to really get this, but there aren't any spoilers - it's fairly abstract and doesn't involve the game in any way... so yeah. >.>



"...and they lived happily ever after," she finished quietly, closing the book and smiling down at the child who was already tucked warmly into her bed. Of course, she wasn't really her daughter, but the woman would never know that. To her, this little girl was her pride and joy, and that was precisely how Namine intended to keep it.

Blissfully unaware, she leaned in to kiss her daughter goodnight.

"Sweet dreams."

She turned off the light on her way out, but left the door cracked open the tiniest bit, allowing a thin sliver of light from the hallway beyond to penetrate the darkness of the little room, just in case.

It wasn't necessary, though - somehow, Namine knew that she wouldn't be having any nightmares.
