Title: Just experimentation
Challenge: Secrets
Word Count: 312
Notes: Possibilty of being squicked - possible Chain of Memories spoiler
A wicked smirk crossed his lips as he removed the needle from his arm. Vixen had his blood sample, now to give him a sedative to force the replica to rest before he met up with his counterpart - or rather his counterpart's best friend. He was careful as he set the needle upon the counter, quickly picking up a second one, pressing the pump in just a bit to watch the liquid sputter from the tip. He slipped it back into the skin, injecting his experiment with the substance before removing the needle away from the boy, while also stepping back from his side.
"What are you doing to me?"
His voice was weak. He had been struggling to get out of his bonds since he woke up, after all. The elder man turned to face him, having taken the blood from the tube and replaced it in a new container. He was strong, no doubt about that, and he was ambitious.
"I am merely checking to see how healthy you are - no need to worry, Riku."
Then clone didn't respond to him, other than nodding to his name. Vixen snickered, before returning to the clone's side. He glanced over him, almost in sick fascination with his body. This was the epitome of his career, the perfect specimen of his research who lay just out of his reach. That fool Marluxia only wanted him to torment the Hero on the upper levels, not giving him enough time to experiment on the boy.
Unless…
He whispered to the boy, telling him to close his eyes as he bit his pale flesh. He could reprogram his memory in the morning, but for now, he had to know how the replica would react to the stimuli. In the morning, or whatever time of day it was (since one couldn't tell in the lower levels), he would hand over the replica to Marluxia with no memory of this night. His indulgence would never be exposed, if he had anything to do with it.
