Challenge: Weapon

Notes: Could be from either Maleficent's or Ansem's POV; up to the reader. I meant it as Maleficent, but upon re-reading it, saw the possibility for Ansem as well. This is a lot of firsts for me – first post here, first Kingdom Hearts piece, first drabble... hope you enjoy.

The Keyblade Master must be stopped, and that's where you come in, my child. You think that friendship will bind your weak little heart to his forever, but I know the truth; already, the darkness has taken hold of you, sending niggling little doubts your way.

I will break that tenuous little bond, and you will become my weapon – a tool of the darkness. It will be you who weakens the Keyblade Master's heart. And once I have successfully torn you both asunder, the darkness will consume your hearts, and my reign over these pitiful worlds will continue unhindered.

So step into the darkness, little boy, and do not be afraid. I will use you well.
