"Hey Gramps!" Sora yelled as he entered the accessory shoppe.

"I said not to call me that kid!" Cid replied in an annoyed voice, leaning over the sales counter and pulling the toothpick from his mouth momentarily.

Sora frowned and bounced up to the counter, glancing behind it at a stack of letters on the table behind Cid. "What are all those for?" He asked, pointing to them.

Cid picked up the stack, laying the colourful cards out on the counter in front of them. "They're Valentine's Day cards, you know from all the people I know." He said picking out a few cards and standing them up. He put another stack beside them, "And these are the ones I still need to deliver," he smiled at Sora, "Maybe you could do that for me later."

Sora frowned and shook his head, thumbing through the cards. "But what are they for?"

"What do you mean what are they for!? you give them to people you idiot! Then they give you a card. It's simple."

"Oh, I've never gotten one..."

Cid gave him a puzzled look, "You have never gotten a Valentine before!?"

"No."

"Wow, you are a very sheltered kid, you know that? Anyway, you make them, or if you're like me you buy them, then hand them out. Sometimes with chocolate, or flowers or somethin' if you really like the person. I guess it wasn't a holiday where you came from, eh?"

Sora shook his head again, "No, but that sounds really cool! I wish I could make one for Riku..."

"Hey, I've got some extra cards if you want one to give to him."

"Really!?"

A smile crossed Cid's face, "Sure, but you've got to finish delivering my cards for me after you're done making it."

"Alright!"

Cid began rummaging through drawers behind the counter and eventually pulled out a card and envelope, along with a pen and some stickers. He also helped Sora figure out how to cut out a paper heart and glue it to the front of the card. When he was finished Sora stood back and admired the mishapen hearts and the squiggly hand writing on the card. Then he sealed it inside the envelope putting Riku's name on the front of it. A thought crossed his mind and he burst out with, "Wait! Today is the only day that it's Valentine's Day right!? That means that I can't give this to Riku then! I don't have any idea where he is!"

"Calm down kid. Sometimes you might have to give it to a person late, but that's okay because by still giving them the card it means you care. Don't worry about it too much, just keep it with you and give it to him the second you see him again, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to accept it, even late."

"Thanks Gramps!" He leaned over and hugged Cid around the neck for a second then let go, sliping the card into his pocket. "But I have one question, what is the difference between a 'Vincent Valentine' and a normal Valentine? You have a bunch of those that need to be delivered...and they all have chocolate taped to the front of them so I was wondering if maybe-"

Cid's face was turning red and he quickly picked up the cards Sora was talking about and shoved them into a drawer. "There is no difference! Now take these cards and diliver them for me! Got it? Now get!" He threw the cards at Sora as he was running out the door.

After leaving the shoppe Sora headed to the small apartment where he knew to find Yuffie to deliver her card. He thought he would ask her the difference, since he was sure that there was one, between 'Vincent Valentines' and normal ones.
