Title: Decisions, Decisions

(anything else): This is my take on the thoughts that were running through Riku’s head as he accepted the power of the Heartless from Maleficent.
There were two decisions to be made then and now by Riku as Maleficent waited with an air of great patience about her. Come to the dark side and control the heartless or do whatever it was that Riku wanted to do. Kairi’s life was depending on his decision alone. There was so much that he could do with the power of the heartless behind him. It didn’t matter if it was the wrong decision to make or if his friend would suffer in the end. All that mattered was saving Kairi.
As the two of them stood in Captain Hook’s ship, Maleficent off to one side, Riku towering over Kairi, the boys mind was made up. Turning around, Riku nodded as his mind was finally made up. For good or bad, better or for worse, Riku had made up his mind.
“I’ll do it.”
“Excellent,” Maleficent purred out as she threw her hands in front of her and cast the power of darkness into Riku’s heart.
