Title: Oathkeeper

Notes: Takes place after KH1 but before CoM. This is also my first post to this community and my first entry in a LJ writing contest. ^.^
She knew it would be difficult, but this was impossible. How was she supposed to tell him she'd found someone else, that he didn't mean as much to her now? She no longer lost her breath around him, no longer smiled for no reason around him... It wasn't his fault.
But he'd kept his promise. Here he was, standing right in front of her, genuine grin on his face, ready for the smile he knew she was going to give him. Instead, she looks down at the floor and scuffs her shoe against it, frowning.
His smile fades. "Kairi?"
"Sora, I..." A lone tear falls down her cheek and Sora gasps slightly.
"Kairi!" He runs towards her. She pulls away from him, but he envelops her in his embrace and whispers into her ear. "I've kept my promise."
