(I think this is the closest I've ever been to being on time - hah!)

Well, I personally think this week had an excellent turnout =) All the entries were wonderful, and it certainly was interesting to try and pick a winner.

And the winner is....

Challenge [22] Winner - [livejournal.com profile] dev_chieftain's "What's in a name?"

Wow. I haven't read the novel for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland in many, many years, but this drabble is just so nostalgic and brings it all back. Very gorgeous, wonderful writing style, absolutely pretty.

Very close behind, were the runner ups... special mentions are [livejournal.com profile] empress_dots's "A Game" and [livejournal.com profile] snarechan's "What I Really Want". Both are excellent - the writing is wonderful, and they explore the characters' depths so much.

Wonderful work, everyone!

Uh, well. Eheheheh. :D I have lots of ideas but it's like, 7:30 am. (caught me on a terrible day, I'm trying to stay up twenty four hours + to fix my sleep schedule).

But, after a little thought, I decided 'hey, I like the Colisseum. And night time. Especially moonlight.' Soo....

Challenge # [23]: Moonlight Battles

Basically, decide who's liable to be training/battling/meeting in the Colisseum at night, and write about it. Have fun with the scenery and the time of day and keep in mind that not all battles are fought with weapons of steel. n_n Hope you all enjoy, and can't wait to see the entries~

Go go Gadget- CHALLENGE! :3

[MOD POST]

Hi, yes, this is [livejournal.com profile] fire_bringer, back from the dead.

I'm really glad to see that the community's been active even though I have not been heading it, but I think it's time for some reminders and a new rule to be implemented. Well, not really a new rule, and you guys don't have to do anything since it'll be the mods who will be doing it.

Okay, firstly, I ask that all of you please re-read the rules again. The rules are there for a reason. I did not bleed in the head thinking up all those rules for nothing. There is a reason why you should not flout the rules.

Secondly, this drabble community is for KINGDOM HEARTS. Maybe I wasn't clear enough with rule 4 (So long as the characters appear in Kingdom Hearts, you can drabble them), but no crossovers. Strictly KH only, and all associated worlds with it. I'm not sure if we can bend the worlds with Final Fantasy, given the incongruity and ambiguity of the KH timeline. I know there were some drabbles who mentioned characters from FF, but for the moment, NO CROSSOVERS.

Maybe we'll do a poll and see how much to an extent crossing over should be allowed, and limited to where so that we all know where we stand?

Thirdly, we noticed that there's been a distressing delay in the submission of challenges and the judging (especially in the judging as I'm sure everyone who participated is anxious to know who has won). To minimise the delay (especially when it's judging), either [livejournal.com profile] brightfall or I will go around pinging/emailing the challenger a reminder before or on the day of the judging itself. Same goes for the next challenge/judge.

If you have won the current challenge, YOU HAVE ONE DAY TO DECIDE YOUR TOPIC. This, by the way, has been waived for the winner of Challenge [22], but we do expect a topic to pop up on May 28th, if not sooner. We will ping/email you as well to inform you of your win.

This is to ensure that the community is running even more smoothly than it has before. I thank you so much for sticking with [livejournal.com profile] kh_drabble, and thank you even more for more than TWENTY challenges.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or [livejournal.com profile] brightfall. I'm sorry if I sound harsh in this post, and I sincerely apologise.
