Title: Hate
Word count: 196
Spoilers: Oh yes. Right up through the very tail end of KHII.

Notes: I rather like this one. It's Saix! I want more Saix love, man. And so, Saix love. This is one of two, the other of which has yet to be written, but I'll get there eventually.

I have ideas for a mad AU highschool crack!fic starring Axel and Roxas. Tell me, readers, should I be chained up before this madness is unleashed?

(By the way, I totally recommend this song. It's off the .hack//SIGN OST, and it's super pretty.)


Saix would like to think that he has only one goal in his nonlife.

Kingdom Hearts.

That one, ultimate prize.

Saix would like to think that he's being loyal to Xemnas. He would like to think that he's obeying properly, advancing the goals of this Organization to an end that will benefit them all.

(The actions of that dim-witted traitor Axel notwithstanding.)

He ignores the thing that seethes within him, boils and writhes like maddened snakes and stops him from thinking, sometimes, sometimes there's a blank spot in his mind

just like the blank spot in his chest

and he's gone, there's nothing but the writhing and burning that explodes from a place he doesn't know and doesn't want to know but it feels ripped and dark and bloody and there's snarling somewhere is that sound coming from his mouth?

Then Saix comes to on the moon-flooded floor of that chamber, his chamber, alone. There's blood all over him and all over the ground, and he doesn't know whose it is, though he can guess. As he pants he stares up at that heart-shaped moon and wonders if what he's feeling would be called hate.

I KNOW. I love Saix! He definitely needs to hog the spotlight for a while.

What was going to be just one drabble about him has turned into three entirely seperate ones. There'll be more Saix love from me in the coming days....

Saix is very awesome. He's one of my favorite Organization members, and it's sad to see him overlooked in favor of AkuRoku. (Not that I don't like AkuRoku, but c'mon, let's see some more Xemnas/Saix!)

(I could see Saix being like a horny tomcat that will hump anything when he's in the mood, but maybe that's just me. My Saix has decidedly feline mannerisms.)

It's hard for me to choose a favorite, actually. XD I mean, I'm practically in love with Demyx, but I adore Axel and Roxas and Saix too.... (And Luxord. A little.)

Xemnas/Saix? For real? Man, I can't see it. And you know, I don't want to try. If I could come up with a cracked out Saix/Luxord fic, my brain could probably throw Xemnas and Saix together and I'm not going to let it! Enough crack pairings for one lifetime.

Haha, wow, no way. XD Saix, in my mind, is way too cool and reserved to let himself go like that, and his calm exterior is just a mask for the berserkery he has to keep under wraps at all times, so he'd be very guarded.... but that's just in my head. Interesting take on him, though...

Hey, why don't we trade? I'll post my Saix/Luxord madness, and you write a Saix/Xemnas something. XD How about it?

See, my brain totally saw the Xem/Saix because of the way they interacted in the Japanese version-- Saix speaks very informally to Xemnas. You'd never address your boss in that fashion normally, which made me wonder... I guess it doesn't really come across the same way in English, though.

I'll just never be able to rid myself of the mental image from a crack!OOC!chat from one of my RPs the other day: a berserk SD Saix narshing on Xigbar's head. It's just too funny, and I could definitely see him doing it, too.

A trade sounds good to me. :3

Oh man, I didn't know that! That definitely changes things. Yeah, I know how that would work. There's a similar sort of system in french that depends on what pronouns and sentence-inversion you use when talking to someone... it makes a BIG difference, I know exactly what you mean.

... LMFAO. Narshing. That's my new favorite word. XD I can totally see a cracked out Saix gnashing on people who refused to take him and his blathering on about Kingdom Hearts seriously. XDD

Alright! :D I already posted my Lux/Saix madness. Shall I take it down, or just edit it to say that it'll be part of a trade....?

(I think I'll do the latter for now and then if you want me to take it down so you can write yours, I can do that :3)

Yeah, Japanese has a zillion varying levels of formality built in, and the way Saix spoke to Xemnas was definitely in one of the least formal manners possible. (Let's put it this way: even I probably wouldn't be that informal with my close friends.)

That was definitely a hilarious moment. Of course, Xigbar was also a bit stoned at the time, so that made it even funnier. ^^; "... DUDE. Bitch kitty to the head, yo."

Yeah, I know. XD I learned some Japanese and spent a few weeks there once. I don't know the language very well, but enough to know how formality in language works.

(... wow. Did he exchew honorifics entirely? I mean. I'd expect a -sama just as something .. obligatory, you know? Xemnas is the SUPERIOR, after all... that's really surprising. Saix must see himself as an equal, or better, even.)

... LMAO what the hell sort of cracked out RPG was this. It sounds like great fun. XD
