Challenge: [60] Sanctuary
Title: 5th
Word Count: 100 (exactly)
Notes: Not really any spoilers, but I would think that having played KH II would help you 'guess' (though it's hopefully obvious) what character this's about. A bit of a slanted universe, as I'm making some assumptions I probably don't have the right to make. Mm, and fits the theme a bit vaguely as well. But in my head it was working out alright.
[demyx] [music] [memory]
He remembers Beethoven; on his good days.
He remembers someone asking him, "What would life be without Beethoven?" and he remembers his response, "Not worth living." Beethoven was the kind of music that reverberated through his fingertips, the kind someone didn't need eyes, or ears, to appreciate.
That's on his good days. On his bad ones he can't even remember how many notes there are in an octave. (Octave, oct, there should be eight, but he can only name A, B, C, E, F, G, A).
He forgets what he's doing sometimes.
But on his good days, he remembers Beethoven.

Date: 2006-04-30 09:18 am (UTC)About five of us got together on a high-speed computer and watched all those in one go. And we came to the conclusion that the back of Roxas' head looked annoyingly like an artichoke. Like you could pluck out leaves and come up brains. So. This icon became my default KH icon that day, and I haven't had the heart to remove it since.
Even though we now think the back of his head looks more like tire tracks.
That was exceptionally long. I apologize.
(And I seriously love your drabble. It's very . . . dense, if you know what I mean? A lot of power packed into a little space. Very talented.)

Date: 2006-04-30 09:23 am (UTC)That's amazing it's like when my friends and I used to have crazy Advent Children theories XD alas, all my crazy theories are now not so crazy. And no apologies necessary! I love stories :D
(And thank you again :D... your toast icon is mesmerizing)

Date: 2006-04-30 09:43 pm (UTC)I like the idea that Demyx would have been a musician before he became a Nobody. It certainly fits with the sitar... XD
:D Kudos!
