Leon can't believe their hopes all rest on this kid. He's all too mortal, no hero to believe in. He's a kid who fell over after a not too serious fight with an adult. He's exhausted and barely anything happened to him.
Leon wishes it'd come to him instead. Oh, he doesn't want it, doesn't want the responsibility or all the eyes on him, but Sora is too fragile for it. People need a hero to rely on.
Maybe, Leon admits to himself as Yuffie joins him, he needs a hero to rely on, too.
It's time for a new kind of hero.
