Challenge - Winter
Title - Snowglobe
Word Count - 281
Miscellaneous - My first drabble ever. So I'm hoping it's good enough...
Sora upside-downed the crystalline sphere in his hands making the small white specks fall lopsidedly again and settle onto the red brick house.
“Yo kid!” Cid called out. “Take this.”
He soon threw a ball looking object towards Sora’s way. Once the spiked haired teen caught it he saw it to be a glass ball containing a house and white something’s.
“Some brat came in with it and actually ordered me to give it to you… damn kids these days, I tell ya…” Cid strutted across his shop and sat on his clerk stool.
Meanwhile, Sora inspected the object with mild bewilderment and extensive curiosity. What was it exactly?
“Er… thanks.”
“Sora! You better get on the Gummi ship before Donald and Goofy leave without ya!” chattered Yuffie after busting through the door.
Sora’s eyes widened. He hastily re-shouldered his travel pack and left without a fair good-bye, tightly clutching the globe in his hand.
His intensive gaze watched the appealing portrait of falling white things and glistening house. Sora’s hearing didn’t register the fight brewing between Goofy and Donald.
Soon, a feathered palm and gloved hand took a hold of the Gummi steering wheel. Both abnormal animals jerked the ship left and right making Sora drop his object.
Crash!
Water ran into every creak and cranny in its path. Diamond shaped glass shrewd over the steel floorings. The house clattered into tiny bricks.
Then a picture emitted from within the fragile glass’s podium.
Two best friends, one silver the other brunette, had their arms around each others shoulders. Sora favorably grinned while holding up a peace sign. Riku satisfyingly smirked in Sora’s direction.
Under the memory image scribbled: “Miss you.”
Hope I didn't blow it. =]
