kingdom100: 057: Annoyance
Word Count: 230
Rating: Perfectly G! Yay!
Notes: A short drabble. By the way, Japanese kids get ten minutes between classes before the teachers switch, and they stay in one room all day.
Maybe it was because Kairi was sick, maybe it was because Tidus and Wakka were in different classes, or maybe it was because her friends were on a choir field trip, but Selphie was talking an ear off- Sora's ear, to be exact.
Sora sighed heavily and put his chin in his palms. He knew that Selphie needed someone to chatter to every ten minute break in their day, but why to a boy? And this boy? All he wanted to do was get his homework done so he could go to the island with Riku. They had been planning to work on some new defense techniques and combat for over a month- and at the rate this day was going, Sora believed he'd never learn any new moves in time for a heartless breakout or any other emergency that might pop up.
The girl in question was perched atop Sora's desk, talking away, not noticing that Sora was obviously tuning her out.
What did I do to deserve this? Sora thought as the droning went on. Oh yeah- I saved the world. He rolled his eyes after that sarcastic thought and slouched.
Fortunately, because Sora was not doing anything to keep his eyes occupied, he noticed the English teacher entering the room and sat up just in time for the instructor to order Selphie off Sora's desk.
