Title: Rememberance

Notes: The theme, really, is very implied here. Post-CoM, but there are no spoilers.

Edit: Yes, it's very obscure. x_X Anyone wanna try to find out what I'm thinking about?

Sora’s sure he’s never seen this man before. But the cocky grin on Axel’s face irked him, like Axel knew each and every one of Sora’s secrets, and it had been Sora himself who told them to him.

But he is sure he has never seen the man in his entire life until now.

And yet, even as he draws his Keyblades, even as he watches the green-eyed redhead summon his weapons, even as he thinks he’s hearing Axel’s laughter for the very first time…

He thinks he’s heard that laughter before.

He thinks he’s seen those colours before.

He thinks he remembers fire.

Meah, I'm going to take a stab at it, don't think I'm right though because I haven't beat CoM ><

But maybe after Sora had his memory erased and saw Axel he was remembering him again? ((meh, memory is bad, but isn't that fire scene is from the extra stuff the Japanese version?))

Gosh wish I could remember, but comment wise I found the line, "But the cocky grin on Axel’s face irked him, like Axel knew each and every one of Sora’s secrets, and it had been Sora himself who told them to him." to be very descriptive, I dunno why but I love that line =]]

Bingo! One of the pre-requisites of understanding this drabble is actually to complete Sora Mode in CoM, and yes, Sora is trying to remember Axel from his time in Castle Oblivion.

I didn't play the Japanese version. Was there really fire?

=D I got it? Man I thought I was waaaay off. I did beat Sora mode though. I'm stuck on a boss fight in Riku mode ><

And if I had the money to buy the Japanese version and learn Japanese I would be able to tell you XD I think I saw Axel with a bunch of fire on some trailer or video

Axel's element IS fire. Besides, he's the only one left alive, as much as we know in CoM. Him and the other guy who never appeared.

which boss fight? Cos if it's one of them without Mickey Cards I suggest you wait until your hit points are good and down and then use the Oogie Boogie Card. That's about the only thing that saved me in the second Riku2 fight and Ansem (who I beat in one try, weirdly. I was pretty cheezed off -- not only did he spend the entire time screaming SUUUUUB-MIIIIIIIIIIIIT at me, he was actually pretty easy to beat. Unlike Riku2, the little retard).

I'm still convinced that Axel is Shadow-world Sora, DON'T MIND ME

Oooh, I get this strong feeling of such foreshadowing it makes me shiver. Lovely last line, it really managed to sum it all up without cutting the drabble off unexpectedly.

For a few moments I actually believed that someone had done it--someone had linked Axel to Riku and they had done it /well/. (Riku's cocky grin...secrets whispered into a best friend's ear...) Then I read the other comments and my excited little bubble burst. Ah well. I loved you drabble anyway, its tone of fire and intrigue characteristic to our enigmatic Axel... Great job! ^^

But I still believe one of the Unknowns (most notably, the one that was spoken to, "You look just like him") is actually Shadow Sora.
