Challenge: [083] Reflection
Title: Looking Glass
Word count: 217
Spoilers: For KH1
Notes: Alice-centric, enjoy!
"There are some days," she said primly to the other Alice, "that you simply cannot know which side of the looking glass you are on."
They both brushed their hair- 52, 53, 54- it was becoming more and more difficult to lift her arm, but she required one hundred strokes to make certain her hair was free of knots.
She blinked, and she wasn't in her room anymore- not home, not in Wonderland- but the strange castle in which she'd-
Inky darkness, thick as tar, clung to her legs and her skirt, she gasped and tried to pull away, but it moved with her.
The crystal growing around her knees and slowly but surely upward flaked and fell to the ground at her struggles- ringing softly.
There was a small sound across from her and she looked up- and gasped.
There were Ladies near her- grown women in beautiful gowns, trapped just as she was- as she would be.
Alice saw her too-wide eyes staring back at her from their jeweled cages and let out a tiny whimper.
"Back to sleep, princess."
She barely caught a glimpse of the gloved hand that passed over her eyes-
She was so very tired- but nearly finished. She was more than three quarters of the way there.

Date: 2006-11-19 05:20 pm (UTC)Yuss~ as far as I'm concerned, anything from Disney canon is 'other'. Poor baby was spirited away from her home- then the freaky and disturbing imaginary world she landed in. Stupid rabbit. XD
O.o ... PLUNNIED?
Um... you're welcome!
