Title: Stars

Notes: friendship fic, pre-KH, Sora’s POV



I didn’t know if anyone else noticed, but every now and then, a star disappeared. Even the brightest star in the sky might be gone the next night.

Even though I didn’t understand what it meant, I knew that it made me sad to think that something so bright and beautiful could just vanish.

I should enjoy them while they last. That’s what I was thinking that night, sitting with Riku and Kairi. Things had been changing lately. I’d been having those dreams…

They were my very best friends. The two people who meant more to me than I could put into words. That friendship was the brightest part of my life.

I won’t lose it. I won’t let it fade away, or vanish like the stars. I’ll fight for them.

That was cute; I especially like how you described their friendship as Sora's brightest part in his life. It's such a beautiful way to portray the idea of friendship in general.
