Written in five minutes when I realized the challenge was supposed to end two hours ago. Sorry if this is too late to be valid, I'll be happy to take it down.
Challenge: Brightest
Title: Untitled
Word count: 94
Notes: Dark, odd, vague, and a bit weird. Sorry if it doesn't fit together very well.
“He was always the weakest among us.”
“ ‘Could never beat me at anything. Hell, he could barely beat Wakka at anything without help from Tidus.”
“If only he didn’t keep smiling when he lost. A stupid grin wasn’t going to frighten away his weakness.”
"Guess people were too distracted by his laughter to notice the tears of defeat in his eyes."
“Maybe that’s why he shown the brightest, even when I clearly outshone him in everything we did.”
“I still do. It’s just up to me to still his lips, his eyes, the beating of his heart…”
A clink of keyblade against stone.
“… and then I’ll shine the brightest.”
