Word Count: 319
(anything else): AU, slight AxelxRoxas-ness
"C’mon," Axel pleaded, hopping up onto the desk, effectively snapping Roxas’ laptop shut—nearly on his fingers!—at the same time. "A night on the town—just you and me, Roxas-baby!"
Roxas sighed, running one of his hands through his blonde hair, the other re-opening the computer. "I have work to do, Axel. Work." The 20-year-old resumed typing from where he left off, quite used to the older man’s antics by now. "In case you’ve forgotten what that means—"
"I know what that means!" Pouting, the red-head tired a different tactic, "You need to get laid. Heey, I can find you a nice girl, no sweat. We’re in Vegas! What more do you want, Roxas?"
Peace and quiet. "Axel, I’m—"—gay—"—busy."
"Not into the girl idea, then? Hm." Axel scrunched his eyebrows and placed a finger on his chin, as if he were really thinking. Axel. Thinking. Pfft. "A boy, then?"
Roxas chocked on his own spit.
"Kidding, kidding!" He waved his hands, laughing and obviously enjoying the other’s reaction.
Sapphire blue eyes narrowed into a glare. "Not funny, Axel."
Sliding off the desk, Axel pouted again, putting on his best puppy-dog look. "Roxas, you know you need a break."
Roxas could already feel himself giving in. "But..."
Grin. "And I~I~I~ need a drink!"
That snapped the blonde out of it. "Not tonight, you don’t. You~ou~ou~ have an early-morning rehearsal tomorrow, and I am not going to be responsible if you have a hangover."
"What are you, my secretary?"
"...Yes."
"Oh, yeah. Well, you’re also my best friend, and I miss hanging with you, you know?"
"I know, Axel." Roxas looked down, unable to handle Axel’s pleading stare. "It’s just..."
"Yeah, yeah. Work. I know, I know. But are you going to let this tear us apart?"
"No..."
"Then...?"
Sigh. "Fine. But I am not—"
"—Taking responsibility, I know."
Roxas stood up, walking towards the door along with Axel.
Axel grinned. "We’ll get some girls and—"
"No."
Pout. Pause. Grin. "Fine, no girls. We’ll get some booze—"
"No."
Sulk. "You take the fun out of everything, don’t you?"
"Yup."
"Maaan~!"

Yeah. I was originally going to continue this and make it some sort of weird fanfiction... thing. With chapters. I don't know. But I'm lazy. So this is all I've got. I'm more of a drabble-writing person, anyway.
Oh, and, you know. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Or whatever.
