Challenge: [92] Feathers
Title: Paper Cranes
Word Count [100]
Notes: No spoilers; this came about from the project I'm doing with the Japanese Club, we're folding a 1,000 paper cranes to send to Hiroshima next month.
There was a legend that if one folded 1,000 paper cranes, they'd be granted a wish. It was an old legend; but nothing was hurt by trying to complete it.
Sora's mother deftly folded another square of paper into the shape of a crane, smoothing out the edges to form strong creases; puffing out the crane with a warm breath of air. Wind ruffled the sheets of paper next to the completed cranes; giving the impression of many feathers rustling in the wind.
She prayed the many wings of her cranes would bring Sora back to her, safe and sound.

And thank you~ ^__^ I've been folding cranes like mad over the past couple of days, so it's very much in my head. I think she would make that type of wish.
...now I want to write a follow up with Sora finding the cranes. *lol*
