Spoilers: None! (Unless you want to be INCREDIBLY picky, for which you could say mild, mild spoilers for the Six Days of Roxas.)
Notes: This is my entry for a challenge over at
kh_het, but I likes it, so I thought I'd post it here too.
This is the happiest I have written Roxas in a long, long while. That probably says something for me.
Roxas
Rain drifted against his window, lazy and slow and misty. If he strained, his eyes could make out indistinct shapes in the haze.

Figures, perhaps. Swirling and twisting as wind tugged the rain about.
Faces, maybe. A face that smiled.
a fever.
She had the prettiest blond hair. She'd whisper in his ear, words he could never make out, but he'd shiver despite the warmth of her breath.
Her laughter, sweet and sad, soft like the—
"Roxas?"
"Gnngh," was his only reply. He rolled over in bed.
"Roxas? Come on, Roxas! It's the middle of the afternoon!"
"Igh," he growled. Slowly he sat up, holding his achy head in a hand as he gazed blearily out the window.
He made a small noise, meant to be a word, but a racking cough caught his breath. When it stopped he tiredly rubbed his eyes. "Wonder what I was dreaming about," he mumbled, swinging his legs out of bed.
The rain had stopped.
