Challenge: [98] Mother
Title: Time to Get Out
Word Count: 383
Note: Sephiroth/Demyx. Thank you VGCats for the inspiration for this.
Demyx was starting to question his relationship with Sephiroth.
Not that relationship was really the right word for what he had with Sephiroth. More like the occasional cup of coffee followed by a wild night in the sack when they both lacked anything better to do. Coffee was optional, actually.
And there was nothing wrong with that. Demyx didn’t have time for much more than that, anyway, between his music and the missions Xemnas sent him out on. And it was very good sex, with a very attractive man, so really, Demyx had nothing to complain about. His favorite thing about the arrangement was right afterwards, when the slow heady feeling had them both. When Demyx could wind his fingers in long, silver hair, feeling the strands slip and coil around his fingers. The time when Sephiroth simply basked in the affection lavished on him by the Nobody, before either worried about missions that needed to be completed or the mess that would need to be cleaned up in the morning.
It was a great relationship, for all it was just about the shallow sex. But lately, Sephiroth had gotten... odd.
Something was on Sephiroth’s mind. Things from the past, if Demyx could guess correctly. He ranted about the blond fellow, Cloud, almost any time he had enough breath to do so. And if he wasn’t discussing the great big obsession of his life, Sephiroth was talking about family.
The obsession over someone else Demyx could handle.
The talk about family was a lot creepier. Sephiroth’s family sounded more dysfunctional than the entire Organization combined. From what rumors Demyx had gathered, Sephiroth’s family consisted of a couple crazy scientists and a genetic mutation in several pieces scattered across his world.
But despite his misgivings, the sex was wonderful and Demyx had agreed to meet Sephiroth, forgoing coffee and heading straight for the main course in the General’s room. Demyx licked his lips as Sephiroth finally arrived, slipping out of his jacket and letting it slide to the floor. Agile musician’s fingers moved for the flowing silver hair as the General leaned in to nibble on an ear.
“Mm,” Sephiroth purred. “Hello, Demyx. Oh, by the way, Mother wants to meet you.”
Demyx decided it was definitely time to end his relationship with Sephiroth.

Date: 2007-03-16 12:40 am (UTC)Poor Demyx! It's such a pretty picture too, all blown to pieces by relatives. Such an old, tried and true story. ^^;
...the concept of having Jenova for an in-law may be one of the most terrifying things I could think of...
