Challenge [099]: Sidequests
Title: 'Splainin' To Do
Word Count: 349
Notes: SECOND ENTRY: Actually, I wrote this one first, but I like how the other one came out better. I just think this one was kind of funny, and I wanted to try writing from Sora's POV.

I was in the middle of the job--I swear I was--when I heard a little girl shout from outside. Of course I had to drop what I was doing and check it out; I've seen too many Heartless come out of nowhere to just ignore a sign of trouble when I hear one.

As it turned out, she was crying because her kite had gotten caught on her roof, and she looked completely miserable, and I couldn't just leave her like that... So I shimmied up a nearby tree, hopped onto the roof (don't look at me like that--it wasn't too far, honest!) and grabbed it and brought it down for her. You should have seen the grin on her face.

Anyway, on the way back, I crashed into Donald (literally). He'd been out on a date with Daisy not too far from here, and I think he said something stupid. Really stupid, if you count the way she was chasing him. So I had to try and keep her from completely mauling him, and then I had to find Kairi to sort out their argument before Donald got hurt.

Well, I found Kairi, but her mom wouldn't let her 'go play' until she'd finished doing the dishes, but Donald couldn't wait that long. So I did that for her while she saved whatever was left of Donald, and by the time I got done drying the plates, her mom sent us out to get groceries for dinner. (Actually, she just sent Kairi and me, but we convinced Donald that things would go more smoothly if he tried giving Daisy some chocolate and flowers. It works wonders on Kairi, anyway.)

Only then we saw Goofy, and he told us that King Mickey sent him to get us, because we needed to deal with some guy named Frollo in a world called Paris. And it was absolutely urgent, he said, and we had no choice but to go and help out.

So off we went.

And that is why I didn't take out the garbage last week.

That was funny. I liked the parts involving Donald... The rambling sounded like Sora. Getting to the end was the best thing ever.
